Langley Federal Credit Union


Langley Federal Credit Union is a federally-chartered credit union, regulated by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the federal government. Savings are federally insured to at least $250,000 per account and are backed by the full faith and credit of the United States government.

On April 17, 1936, the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA) Laboratory Federal Credit Union was created when twenty-five NACA employees each deposited $1 to pay the charter fee. Today Langley Federal Credit Union serves over 238,000 members and has more than $2.4 billion in assets, ranking the financial cooperative as one of the 100 largest credit unions in the country. Located in Hampton Roads, Langley has 18 branches, over 55,000 surcharge-free ATMs, and has served the community for more than 81 years
